About the Founder of STEMulate Minds

Dr. Laura Jones' objective is to help children become more appropriately informed about cybersecurity and technology.

She is an award winning cybersecurity and information technology Risk Strategist who desires to help youth think more strategically about personal safety while online and to begin thinking about developing cyber and tech skills for meaningful contributions to the future.

Dr. Jones' credentials include a PhD in Product Management (with a focus on Reputation Risk and Potential Profitability) M.S. in Quality Systems Management and B.S. in Management Studies. She holds several professional certifications in the areas of information security, risk management, quality management, project management, and information technology governance. Dr. Jones completed executive education at Harvard Kennedy School,  Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College and UC Berkley. She also earned a graduate certificate cybersecurity policy. She enjoys speaking and educating on the topic of risk management and online safety.
